My Lifestyle Portraiture focuses on capturing personality... and who YOU really are.
When photographing people I prefer to use a natural studio and outdoor locations. Using a location which is chosen by you or along with some guidance from myself produces really personal photographs.
I'll work with the whole environment, the changing light and colours, groups, individuals and the details - producing a cohesive set of images for you which really encapsulates your character, personality and mood of the photoshoot.
Photographing freely like this also works very well with the 'busy' characters of children. I'm not afraid of working with little people! (I'm probably a little on their level!) I'm happy to run around after them, or lay on the floor to get that perfect shot for you. I've had little one's myself and photographed lots of children so I've gained that skill in diverting their attention away from tears and tantrums!...and hopefully I've still got enough 'cool' left in me to impress the bigger kids too!
Most of my customers contact me from in and around Yorkshire, Leeds, York and the town of Selby for family portraits, lifestyle location shoots and newborn photography and baby photographs.
My studio portrait sessions are particularly popular for photographing newborns. Quiet, warm and calm, with just you, your baby and myself. No interruptions, no limit on shoot time (the case for all my portrait shoots), and plenty of opportunity to change outfits and feed your baby. Im not a public high street studio so you don't have to worry about your baby being unsettled or feel anxious if they start to cry.
I also have some portable studio equipment which I can bring to your business, event or party. In the studio I work with studio lights to get creative, producing vibrant and contemporary images for you with pop!
